JAY — Municipal budget talks will begin Monday, March 4, with selectmen meeting with department heads, Town Manager Ruth Cushman said Tuesday.
It is a workshop only and no business will be conducted. The meeting will start after selectmen return to the Jay Town Office from a 5 p.m. caucus to see who will serve on the Franklin County Budget Advisory Committee in Farmington. Selectmen from each of the three county districts vie to serve on the budget panel.
There will be no selectmen’s meeting Monday, Feb. 25, Cushman said. The next selectmen’s meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the Town Office.
