SOUTH PARIS — “Deer Ecology, Habitat Management and Food Plots” will be the topic of the western Maine chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine this week.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in Room E118 at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School on Route 26.

Representatives from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, the Maine Forest Service and the Quality Deer Management Association will speak on subjects related to managing deer on small woodlots.
