WILTON — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash Monday on Depot Street.

A tractor-trailer, parked at a business, was hit by a truck just before noon. The driver then took off, police Chief Heidi Wilcox said.

The driver of the tractor-trailer saw the vehicle and described it as a 1990s’model Ford F150, two tone in color, dark brown over light brown, she said.  There should be quite a bit of damage on the driver’s side, especially near the front, and the headlight unit may be destroyed.

The tractor-trailer was not damaged, and there were no injuries in the incident reported at 11:43 a.m., she said.

Anyone with information on the Ford truck is asked to call the Wilton Police Department at 645-3876.
