AUGUSTA — Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap administered the oath of office Feb. 25 to Patty Morneault of Turner, appointing her deputy secretary of state for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Morneault has 23 years of motor vehicle experience and detailed knowledge of the bureau’s operations, according to Dunlap. She holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Her management philosophy will build upon staff support and public trust in the services the agency delivers to the citizens and businesses of the state.
