Morin to describe visit to Turkey
AUBURN — Rachel Morin will share experiences from her recent trip to Turkey, the land of the sultans and the Ottoman Empire, at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Auburn Public Library. The program in the Androscoggin Community Room is in collaboration with Senior College.
Morin, using photos and narratives, will take the audience to Istanbul, the Mosques, the Spice Market, the Great Bazaar, the ancient Library of Ephesus, plus many more ancient landmarks.
A retired occupational health care manager, Morin is a member of the Lewiston-Auburn Senior College and serves on the board of directors. She is also the columnist/photographer for the Twin City Times.

Bridge play results at Armory
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners at the Lewiston Armory on March 4 were as follows: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Rosemarie and Tom Goodwin; third, Paul Sherman and Les Buzzell; first in B, Connie Webster and Larry Fortier.
