ROCKPORT — Judy Wallingford, an Auburn native and an Edward Little High School graduate, recently received the Jeff Nixon Distinguished Service Award from the Maine Water Utilities Association. Wallingford is president of the Maine Water Co.

Wallingford began her career in the water works industry more than 30 years ago at what is now the Maine Water Co. She has been president of that company for 20 years and recently became president of the Biddeford and Saco Water Co., which is affiliated with Maine Water.
