AUBURN — Clyde Bergemann Auburn, the air-gas handling division of Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas, announces it has hired additional engineering and project management staff in response to growing demand for its products.

Project Manager Don Bernier brings to the company more than 13 years of  experience in design, engineering and project management in heavy industry. Most recently, he was executive vice president of Navus Automation in South Portland and previously was extensively involved in engineering and project management at Bath Iron Works. In his role at CBAU, Bernier manages multiple large-scale projects through engineering, production and equipment delivery globally.

Design engineers Craig Gaudet and Colin Howe are responsible for producing high quality design solutions and equipment for power generation customers around the world. They work as members of a team of project managers, project engineers, designers and drafters.

Gaudet comes to the company with 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project management. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and aeronautical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.

Howe comes to the company with experience in design engineering with Westinghouse Electric Company in Newington, N.H. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. Howe is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Both Howe and Gaudet are involved in projects from the point of kickoff and specification review through final design, fabrication and shipment of air-gas handling equipment.
