Spruce Mountain Middle School students perform “Seussical Jr.” on Wednesday night in the cafeteria in Jay. The play uses many of the characters made famous by Dr. Seuss, such as the Grinch, the Cat in the Hat, and Horton the Elephant. Some in the 35-member cast and crew kick off the performance with William Thornton, far left, leading as the Cat in the Hat. The musical will be presented again at 7 p.m. Thursday.
