TURNER — Selectmen Chairman Angelo “Terry” Terreri won re-election with 176 votes in Friday’s election. Former Selectman Dennis Richardson replaced longtime Selectman Lawrence “Punk” House by garnering 163 votes.

Richard Gross was returned to the RSU 52 board with 253 votes.

Three, three-year terms and a one-year term on the Budget Committee were filled by write-in candidates.

Winning three-year terms were Maine State Police Detective Michael Chavez with 66 votes, Turner businessman Alex Cutter with 42 votes and Ed Doiron, who holds both an electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration with 26 votes.

Kelly Arsenault won the one-year seat with 11 votes.

The annual town meeting opens at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Leavitt Area High School cafeteria.
