LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Business to Business Trade Show is opening its doors to the outside.
For the first time, organizers are extending the June 13 event into the parking lot at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.
Some businesses such as limos, cranes and solar panels don’t work as well indoors, said Calvin Rinck, spokesman for the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council, the show’s organizer.
The new outdoor venue will be immediately in front of the Colisee. Already confirmed are a model home by Maine Source Homes and Electrical Systems of Maine doing generator demonstrations.
Billed as the largest one-day business networking event in Maine, it’s expected to draw 2,500 people. Booth space has sold out the last seven years.
It’s a rain or shine event. Entry is free in exchange for a business card at the door.
