AUBURN — Co-owners Mark Berube and Kevin Morrissette announce the opening of Central Maine Slot Car Racing at the Auburn Mall, 550 Center St.

The four-lane track is available for those with their own slot cars at $2.50 for 15 minutes. Cars are available for “rent” for an additional $2.50 for 15 minutes. For those who wish to race longer, the cost is $10 for 30 minutes. The setup is much the same as the slot car racing sets that were quite popular in the 1960s and can be enjoyed by people of almost any age.

Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 782-2422.
