LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network invites members, guests and the general public to its May 8 meeting at the Franco-American Heritage Center. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m.

Each meeting provides meaningful networking opportunities for attendees to market themselves and their businesses.

Speaker for the meeting will be Dr. Joyce Gibson, dean of the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College, speaking about creating a women’s leadership collaborative. In her role as dean, Gibson has sustained many collaborations and partnerships that community and college leaders have forged over the years, and has created new ones that support and enrich the economic and social development of the region.

The cost is $16 for members and $20 for nonmembers and includes everything. Nonmembers are always welcome. Online preregistration is required by 3 p.m. May 7.
