AUBURN — The Trinity Jubilee Center’s 9th annual Empty Bowls Supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the First Universalist Church, 169 Pleasant St.

Potters from around the state have donated hundreds of bowls, plates and mugs and more than a dozen local restaurants have donated food. Everyone is invited to purchase a piece of pottery, eat dinner and listen to local musician Greg Boardman.

The Jubilee Center is a community center in downtown Lewiston, open seven days a week. Proceeds from the Empty Bowls Supper benefit the center’s programs, including a soup kitchen, food pantry, resource center, refugee assistance program and day shelter. Breads are provided by Forage Market, The Bread Shack, the Italian Bakery and Grant’s Bakery. Dessert is provided by Subway, Governor’s Restaurant and Sam’s Italian Restaurant.
