MEXICO — The Mexico Police Department responded to 44 incidents over the last week. Among the incidents are the following:

Burglaries/Thefts:

* A Main Street resident reported at 1:49 p.m. April 22, that someone entered their enclosed porch and stole 50 pounds worth of dog food valued at $20. Police currently have no suspects.

* A Peru resident reported at 4:12 p.m. April 20, that while at Tommy Gun’s bar, their cell phone was stolen. It was valued at $100. Police currently have no suspects.

* At 6:59 p.m. April 22, a Mexico Avenue resident reported that sometime between April 20 and 21, someone stole a 35-foot piece of galvanized pipe from his chain-link fence. The pipe was valued at $200.

* At 2 p.m. April 22, an Osgood Avenue resident reported that sometime between April 20 and 21, someone attempted to forcibly enter their garage but was unable to do so.

* At 8:55 a.m. April 22, a Gleason Street resident reported that sometime between April 20 and 21, someone entered their shed in the backyard and went through their belongings. Nothing was reported to be stolen.

*An Osgood Avenue resident reported at 5:49 p.m. April 21 that someone got into their residence by breaking a window and stole more than $400 worth of property.

Accident:

*At 8:30 p.m. April 23, Christopher M. Thibault, 32, of Roxbury, was traveling north on Route 17 when a deer ran in front of his 2009 Ford car. The deer was killed. Thibault’s car received reportable damage.
