The driver of the Chevrolet Blazer SUV, right, sits with his uninjured dogs and talks to a passer-by at about 11:30 a.m. Monday. The man was outbound on Sabattus Street and ran a red light when his vehicle was hit mid-section on the passenger side by a Kia minivan that was turning onto Sabattus Street from Grove Street where it had a green light, according to Lewiston Police Sgt. Michael Whalen. The driver of the SUV was initially trapped but appeared uninjured after he was freed. The right front portion of the minivan was damaged.
