AUBURN — Scott Demers, a native of Auburn, has recently announced the formation of his latest company, Maine Mortgage Co.

Demers graduated from Edward Little High School in 2001 and from Bentley University in 2005, where he earned his degree in finance. He is also co-owner of Demers Foods, along with his brother John.

Following his graduation from Bentley and a two-year stint with a finance company in Boston, Demers returned to Auburn. He has been in the mortgage industry for the past five years as a licensed mortgage broker. His new company has all the major loan programs for both purchase and refinance loans (conventional, FHA, VA, MSHA, RD).

Demers says part of the reason he started Maine Mortgage Co, is to work with first-time home buyers.
