* Ryan Joshua Hollis, 19, of 73 Newbury St., Auburn, possessing marijuana, 1:17 a.m. Wednesday at 61 Bates St. 

Androscoggin County

* Stephen Shephard, 57, of 127 Riverside Drive, Auburn, unlawful sexual contact, 11:55 a.m. Wednesday at 64 James St., Auburn by Maine State Police.

Accidents

Auburn

* A pickup driven by Norman P. Chamberlain, 23, of Auburn, struck a light pole at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday in the Walmart parking lot. His 2008 Dodge was towed.

Lewiston

* A cargo van driven by Peter A. Lockhart, 58, of Auburn, struck a parked SUV owned by Maxine J. Burns, of Norway, while Lockhart was turning from Bridge Street onto High Street at 6:57 a.m. Thursday, May 2. The cargo van, driven by Lockhart and owned by the Lewiston Daily Sun, was towed. Damage to Burns’ 2005 Chevrolet was listed as functional.
