LEWISTON — About 1,200 Central Maine Power customers in the downtown lost power early Saturday morning. The outage was reported shortly before 1 a.m. A CMP spokesman said the outage was caused by a bad connection at a substation. It was unclear whether the wind and rain were factors. Power was restored around 2:45 a.m.
