Abby Dunn of Auburn and Nicole Court-Menendez of Lewiston each wrapped up their freshman season with their second All-American honor, earning that status Friday in the 5,000-meter race walk at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Marion, Ind.

Dunn, an Edward Little graduate now competing at Goshen (Ind.) College, finished third in the event, matching her performance during the indoor season. Dunn led early in the race before settling for third in a time of 26 minutes, 7.49 seconds.

Lewiston High producrt Court-Menendez, representing Dakota Wesleyan University of Mitchell, S.D., was eighth with a school record and personal best of 27:50.88.

It was more than 10 seconds faster than her pace at the Penn Relays earlier in the spring. The record was the fifth school standard Court-Menendez has broken this season.

Court-Menendez also finished eighth at the indoor nationals in March.
