SUMMERFIELD, Fla. — Katherine Pillsbury Evans, 83, died June 9, in Summerfield, Fla.
She was born on May 22, 1930, in Strong, and attended schools in Strong. She was a founding member of the Farmington Falls Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed family and yard sales.
She was employed at Bass Shoe in Wilton, until retirement in 1988. Her first husband, Edward, died in 1979. She married her second husband, the Rev. John C. Evans, in 1992.
She is survived by two brothers, Lloyd Walker of Durham, Conn. and Earlon Walker of Farmington; two sons, Farren Pillsbury of Longwood, Fla. and Roger Pillsbury of Belgrade; three daughters, Brenda McKay of Oakland, Diane Mosher of Temple and the Rev. Deborah Grant of Summerfield, Fla.; two stepsons, the Rev. John F. Evans of Belfast and the Rev. Timothy Evans of Dover, Del.; 33 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Pillsbury, four brothers and two sisters.
