HARTFORD — Voters returned three incumbents to office during Tuesday’s election, but narrowly shot down the Regional School Unit 10 budget.
Zoe Cowett was re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen with 53 votes. Lianne Bedard was re-elected town clerk, tax collector and treasurer for a three-year term with 65 votes.
Jeremy Johnson was re-elected to a two-year-term as road commissioner with 53 votes.
Voters defeated the $36.18 million school budget, 32-33. Voters decided, 38-26, to continue having a budget validation referendum for the next three years.
