PARIS — Charges of allowing an underage drinking party were dismissed against the owners of Camp Waziyatah in Waterford on Friday in Oxford County Superior Court.
Gregg M. Parker, 46, of Boston and his brother, Mitchell G. Parker, 50, of Miami, were arrested in August 2012 on charges of furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
The complaints against them were dismissed on the recommendation of the District Attorney’s office.
Sheriff’s deputies broke up a party at the camp on Aug. 17, 2012, and arrested the Parkers and a counselor. The campers had left for the season.
According to information from the Sheriff’s Office at the time, about 15 minors received civil summonses for alcohol possession.
Camp Waziyatah on McWain Pond offers horseback riding, wake boarding, sailing, musical theater, jazz dance, whitewater rafting, pottery, golf, archery and dozens more activities, according to its website.
