HANOVER — State police have reopened Route 2 in Hanover after detouring traffic away from the scene of a fatal accident Friday morning when a tractor-trailor struck a bicyclist riding in the Trek Across Maine.

Route 2 was reopened around 1:05 p.m. Traffic was detoured down Route 232 and Intervale Road to allow state police to investigate the crash that killed bicyclist David LeClair, 23, of Watertown, Mass.
