OXFORD — A Mechanic Falls teen left the roadway and crashed into a pavement roller Saturday evening on Allen Hill Road.
According to Sgt. Rickie Jack of the Oxford Police Department, 19-year-old Kacey McAllister was intoxicated and speeding at 8:11 p.m. when the crash occurred.
Jack said despite totalling her 2004 Subaru and damaging the roller rented by the town, McAllister appeared uninjured and refused transport to the hospital.
McAllister was treated and released at the scene, Jack said, adding that she remained polite and cooperative throughout the incident.
Jack said McAllister was charged with operating under the influence.
