PARIS — The annual kitten shower at the Responsible Pet Care shelter in Paris will be held Saturday, June 22, from noon to 4 pm.

Organizers say there will be adorable kittens to see and adopt, as well as refreshments and door prizes.

Donations are being accepted to help in the care of the large number of cats and kittens that are currently flooding the shelter. Items needed are baby blankets, Purina adult dry cat food, Purina kitten dry cat food, scoopable cat litter, bleach, paper towels and cat toys. There will be an outside drop box for donations.

The cat shelter is located in Paris off High Street, across from the Paris Elementary School at 9 Swallow Road.
