FARMINGTON — A free southern gospel concert featuring the Down East Boys from North Carolina and a southern breakfast will be held Sunday morning at the Living Waters Assembly of God Church at 547 Wilton Road.

A southern-style breakfast that includes flapjacks, grits, and biscuits and gravy will be offered at no charge at 9 a.m. followed by the concert at 10:30 a.m.

Manna & Melody Ministries presents the concert, featuring the award-winning musicians who “marvel their audiences with the blending of voices and anointed music,” said Guy Stevenson, who with his wife, Debbie, recently started the ministry.

They feel they are being led to provide gospel music and free food for smaller churches that don’t usually host known gospel singers, Debbie recently said.
