LEWISTON — Adam L. Duquette, D.O., has been appointed to the Central Maine Medical Center medical staff. He is practicing with Family Health Care Associates in Auburn.

A graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn and the University of Maine in Orono, he earned his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford.

During his years in medical school, he consistently was in the top 10 percent of his class and was inducted into the National Osteopathic Academic Honor Society. He was one of the top three students in his class at the University of New England.

He completed his residency training at the Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, where he was recognized in 2011 with a Professionalism Award. He served as chief resident during his final year of training and graduated from the program in June.

He is certified in advanced trauma life support, advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation.

He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, Maine Medical Association, Maine Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.

He lives in Auburn with his fiancee and stepson.
