FARMINGTON — Farmington photographer Ann Arbor will exhibit her work at SugarWood Gallery during the month of August. An open house reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at 248 Broadway. The public is invited.

Arbor is a photographer and poet who grew up in Mexico, Maine, worked in the local paper mill, and attended college in Massachusetts. She has taught English to students from pre-kindergarten to graduate school, coached college basketball, and served as foreign expert at four major Chinese universities.

As a photographer she has published work in national and international magazines. Recent one-person shows include Ambassadors of Light in Hangzhou, China, At Home in the World in North Carolina, and two shows at the University of Maine-Farmington. Her photographs are held in private collections in Great Britain, Mexico, China and throughout the United States.
