DURHAM — A Canadian driver suffered a minor hand injury Tuesday in a two-car collision at Hallowell and Rabbit roads.

Shelley Duke, 40, of Saint John, New Brunswick, complained of an injury to her hand and was treated at the scene by Durham Fire and Rescue, Androscoggin County Sheriff Sgt. Jim Jacques said.

Duke was crossing Hallowell Road from Rabbit Road as Brandon Robbins, 17, of 10 Houston St., Lisbon Falls, was driving on Hallowell Road when their cars collided, he said. Robbins was not injured.

No charges were filed, he said.

Robbins’ 1984 Pontiac Firebird and Duke’s 2004 Toyota Camry were demolished in the 2:43 p.m. crash, Sgt. Jacques said. Combined loss was estimated at $8,000.
