FARMINGTON — A two-vehicle crash Sunday night on Farmington Falls Road injured three people and resulted in a summons for a Farmington man.

Travis Lambert, 23, was driving south on Route 2, also known as Farmington Falls Road, about 7 p.m. when he attempted to cut across on to Mason Road, Rachel Heseltine, Farmington police secretary read from Officer Darin Gilbert’s report.

A witness told police that Lambert pulled his 1999 Chevrolet into the path of a 2013 Toyota, which was being driven north by Chelsea Frey, 20, of Weld.

Lambert’s vehicle struck Frey’s near the driver’s side door, pushing the vehicle off the road and into the woods.

Frey, who complained of neck pain, was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle’s air bags deployed, Heseltine said. Frey was treated at the scene by NorthStar ambulance, but the report was unclear whether she was transported to the hospital.

Lambert complained of pain in his chest and stomach, and his passenger, Travis Gordon, 21, received abrasions and bruises to his face.
