‘Proclaiming the UU Gospel’
NORWAY — All are invited to join the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Norway at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, as Rev. Fayre Stephenson offers a service titled “Proclaiming the UU Gospel.”
Having the highest respect for the beliefs of others, Unitarian Universalists are reticent to proselytize. As the scripture passage says, we hide our light under a bushel basket. At this service, using the original definition of gospel, good news or glad tidings, we will explore how we can be true to our respect for other traditions and, also, shout out the gospel of Unitarian Universalism.
The church is at 479 Main St. Childcare is provided and social hour follows the service. For more information call 207-743-2828 or visit www.norwayuu.org.
