Livermore Falls selectmen will hold a public hearing on a proposal to leave Androscoggin County and join Franklin County at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at the Town Office. The hearing will also review the twice failed town administrative budget. Michele Coates, foreground, of the Livermore Falls Downtown Betterment Group, puts up a hearing notice on the town’s new message board as group member Bob Berry and Town Manager Kristal Flagg watch. Coates wrote a proposal to use leftover Community Development Block Grant funds to pay for the sign in the Gateway Park.
