DIXFIELD — Eugene and Leslie Skibitsky of Dixfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Skibitsky of Fayetteville, N.Y., to Timothy Falso of Fayetteville, N.Y., son of Frank and Valerie Falso of Fayetteville, N.Y.

Miss Skibitsky is a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree. She received a master’s degree in education of the deaf from Smith College in 2011 and a master’s degree in speech pathology in 2013 from Fontbonne University. She is employed as a speech pathologist at Hear2Learn in Syracuse, N.Y.

Mr. Falso is a 2000 graduate of the University of Vermont and is employed at Bailey, Haskell and Lalonde Insurance Brokerage.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 18, 2014, in Northampton, Mass.
