LISBON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Ida M. Banach was celebrated by the Reverend Lionel Chouinard Wednesday morning at Holy Trinity Church.

During Mass family friend Bert Levesque proclaimed both the Old Testament and New Testament readings. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Ida’s niece Gaetane Martin and Ida’s cousin Andre Charette.

Following Mass graveside committal prayers were recited by Deacon John Brennan at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery in Augusta.

At the conclusion of services all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Governor’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
