PARIS — Repairs to the railroad crossing on Nichols Street are expected to begin Tuesday, according to the Paris Highway Department.
The crossing, owned by the St. Lawrence and Atlantic Railroad Co., is among a number of crossings in Paris in need of repair.
According to a message on the town’s website, Nichols Street will be closed to through-traffic Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Wednesday, Oct. 30, to replace the battered crossing.
