OGDEN, Utah — Louise Marie Melanson Child, 88, of Brigham City, Utah, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Louise was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Strong, a daughter of Michael Mitchell and Hazel Marie Marcue Melanson.

Surviving are her husband, Norman J. Child; five children, Dennis, Dave, Carolyn, Doug and Dean; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Marguerite Randolph.
