LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Brianna Michelle Janke and Joshua Lee Palmer, both of Lewiston.

Miss Janke is the daughter of Sonya Janke of Winthrop. She is a 2008 graduate of Dirigo High School and is  a student at Central Maine Community College. She plans to graduate in May with a degree in early childhood education. She is a toddler teacher at Bright Ideas Childcare in Livermore.

Mr. Palmer is the son of Randy and Carol Palmer of Peru. He is a 2009 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2011 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College with an associate degree in welding technology. He is a welder at Engineered Construction Services.

The wedding will be held on Sept. 27, 2014, at the Great Outdoors in Turner.
