SCARBOROUGH — Scarborough police are investigating a shooting after a Portland woman was found in a driveway with a gunshot wound to her head, WMTW reports.

Police told WMTW that Carol Dorney, 47, of Portland, was found in a driveway at 38 Running Hill Road with a gunshot wound to the head Thursday night. She is in intensive care at Maine Medical Center, according to the report.

Police detained, then released, several people, the report said. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
