AUBURN — A local teen was not hurt Monday evening when his pickup truck rolled onto its side on West Bates Street, police Lt. Laurie Woodhead said.

Dustin Donahue, 19, of Blackmer Street was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger at about 6:20 p.m. and intended to turn right onto Dewey Street when he downshifted. That was when the rear end of the pickup slid and hit the curb, rolling the truck onto the passenger side, she said.

Donahue was uninjured and the pickup damaged, she said.
