When 11-year-old Grace Vierling of Monmouth, center, was asked about any preferences for her birthday celebration, she said she wanted to help young patients at Central Maine Medical Center. The guests enthusiastically complied and Grace and her mom recently visited CMMC’s Pediatrics Unit to deliver a passel of parcels. On hand to receive the contributions were pediatrics nurse Angela Butler, left, and patient Maisy Cyr of Leeds.
