LEWISTON — A 60th wedding anniversary party honoring Bertrand and Joan Caron of Lewiston, was held recently at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

The event was hosted by their daughter, Brenda Caron Giguere and her husband, Raymond, and their other daughter, Nanci Caron, their granddaughter, Crystal Howes and her companion, Julien Martinez and two great-grandchildren, Bryson Howes and Adrianna Martinez.

It was a party of laughter, fun and tears, inspired by the co-called roast given by James Flynn and a few others. There were 65 relatives and friends in attendance.

Mr. Caron and the former Joan Bertrand were married on Nov. 11, 1953, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston.
