LEWISTON — Sherry and Paul Ferland of Monmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Megan “Fearless” Ferland of Monmouth, to Justin LaChance of Lewiston, son of Rowena LaChance and Gary Doucette of Lewiston.

Miss Ferland is a graduate of Monmouth Academy and the University of Maine at Farmington. She is  teacher at Margaret Murphy Center for Children.

Mr. LaChance is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Alternative Manufacturing Inc.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 4.
