WILTON — The memorial candlelight vigil for Raymond “Butch” Weed begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 31, at the Veterans Memorial on Main Street in Wilton.

The vigil was postponed on Dec. 23 due to an ice storm. It was the date Weed was killed at his home in Wilton 10 years ago.  No one has been arrested in the shooting.

The vigil will be casual. Anyone who would like to share a memory or funny story about Weed is welcome to speak during the vigil, Weed’s sister, Rachel Skidgell of Carthage, said Monday.
