LEWISTON — The Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community will offer a free, five-week class titled My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices.
It will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 22 to Feb. 26 at its center at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College on Westminster Street.
This 15-hour class can help attendees gain the skills and confidence needed to stretch money, pay bills, reduce debt, find money for savings and set personal financial goals. At the end of the class, those attending will have a plan in place to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support.
All services are free and open to men and women. For more information on Women, Work and Community or to register for the training, call Laurie at 753-6612.
