WATERFORD — Police say they found processed marijuana, a marijuana grow operation and multiple firearms during a search of a Puffin Hill Drive home last week.

The search resulted from the arrest of a Waterford couple made by New Hampshire State Police on New Year’s Eve.

According to N.H. State Police spokeswoman Nicole Armaganian, Jason L. Millett and Jessica Morrill, both 34, were arrested near Portsmouth on Dec. 31 and charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

Armaganian was unable to give specifics in the case, but said a wrecker was called for the vehicle the couple was in and there were also three juveniles in the vehicle.

On Wednesday, Maine State Police Lt. Walter Gryzb said N.H. State Police recovered approximately three ounces of what is believed to be cocaine in Millett’s possession at the time of his arrest.

On Jan. 2, investigators from Maine State Police executed a search warrant at Millett’s residence at 14 Puffin Hill Drive in Waterford, finding a grow operation with 35 marijuana plants, four pounds of processed marijuana and eight firearms, including pistols, shotguns and rifles, according to Gryzb. Puffin Hill Drive is off Town Farm Road.

Additional drug-related charges will be filed in Maine against Millett and Morrill as a result of the search, Gryzb said.
