Phoenix Karate Academy in Auburn announced it’s most recent belt test, promoting several adults to the next level of rank. All students executed basics (punches, blocks, kicks) using correct Japanese terminology, Kata (set memorized movements), self–defense techniques, and sparring concepts (light contact fighting). Those students include: Terrance McCormick, Jason Knight, Andy Bean, Abbey Trask and Sosai Donna Harris.
Phoenix Karate Academy also promoted several students to the next level of rank. Those students include, starting from bottom left: Sean, Max, Rain, Gavin; second row from left: Brea, Hunter, Attigan, Brogan, Birch, Chris and Sosai Donna Harris.
These students were promoted to the next level of rank after completing the Little Sparks Belt Test. All students executed toddler basics (listening skills, following direction), as well as beginner karate techniques (bowing, focus positions, beginner blocks and kicks) and stranger awareness(stranger danger techniques, parents first name, and telephone number). Those students include Seen in picture starting from left to right: Landon, Abel, Chaz, Sosai Donna Harris, Pemberly, Anna and Bentley.
