PORTLAND (AP) — Police are investigating reports of gunfire at a Portland bar.

WMTW-TV (http://bit.ly/1hIbu2I ) reported that police were called to Sangillo’s Tavern on Hampshire Street at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said someone was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but it was not immediately clear if that person had been shot.

Hampshire Street was closed during the investigation.

There was no word on arrests.
