Christine Fournier and Bob Berry, of the Livermore Falls Downtown Betterment Group, shovel snow on Thursday in preparation for the second annual Livermore Falls Sled-In from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Livermore Falls Recreation Field. The field is on Foundry Road, behind the Town Office. People can ride their snowmobiles directly to the event via the Whistle-Stop Trail that runs from West Farmington to Jay/Livermore Falls area. People also can bring downhill sleds, snowshoes and ice skates to use at the numerous events lined up, including snow sculpture and snowman contests. A raffle will be held with proceeds to benefit snowmobile clubs in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls. There is no cost for admission.
