The Western Maine Street Rods Car Club recently donated $2,000 to the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing and $2,000 to the Central Maine Medical Center Arbor House. Funds for these donations were raised through the Motor Madness Car Show held at the Farmington Fairgrounds in July. On hand for the presentation of the donations were, from left, seated, Buddy Gallant, Vicki Gill, Cheryl Anastasio and Cheryl Sillanpaa; standing, Mary Bradley, Todd Wardwell, Dawna Pond, Dempsey Center Executive Director Wendy Tardif, Mike Pond (who spearheaded the effort), Frank Anastasio, CMMC Guest Relations Coordinator Jeri Maurer, Andy Phillips and Yvan Lapointe.
