DIXFIELD — James and Paula Holman of Dixfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Beth Marie Holman of Sarasota, Fla., to Brian Jeffrey Fournier of Sarasota, Fla., son of Lisa Fournier and Jeffrey Fournier of Jay.

Miss Holman is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Southern Maine. She also received an associate degree in economics from the University of Southern Maine. She is a training specialist at Voalte Inc., a health care communications company based in Sarasota, Fla.

Mr. Fournier is a 2002 graduate of Jay High School and is an account representative at DEX Imaging, Inc., a document imaging dealer based out of Tampa, Fla.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on Aug. 23 at First Parish Church in Portland.
